How do we measure breastmilk in our breastfeeding research center?
A laboratory in the Netherlands that is specialized in examining all types of milk, measures your breastmilk. Breastfeeding is analyzed via an infrared light, the levels are calculated by an infrared meter with a measured signal using a computer. We also analyze in a different way, namely by dried, charred and dissolved breast milk. The solution determines the levels using light that is sent through a molecule when it is in a plasma. This analysis method is more laborious and complex. Since both analysis measurement methods differ greatly, so are also different in terms of price. These measurements cannot be combined in 1 collection sample tube, but 2 samples are required. Both analyzes are carried out in a laboratory in the Netherlands that is accredited for laboratory research in accordance with NEN-EN-ISO-IEC 17025.
The breastfeeding alcohol strips actually work just like a pregnancy test. It is a thin strip on which a drop of breast milk is placed and it changes color after exactly 2 minutes if alcohol is present
Therefore, various measurement methods and parameters are possible. If you want a different combination of parameters, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
